Mission

The Process Engineer will be responsible for defining, developing, and optimizing manufacturing and assembly processes used in the production of advanced semiconductor and electronic components. The role focuses on ensuring robust process performance, supporting product development activities, and enabling efficient transition from development to industrial production.

Working closely with engineering, production, and technical teams, the engineer will contribute to the definition of process parameters, equipment configuration, and operational procedures while ensuring quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

Process Development and Equipment Setup

  • Configure and optimize automated equipment, defining process parameters, tooling requirements, and operational workflows.
  • Support the introduction of new manufacturing processes and equipment within development and production environments.
  • Participate in the definition, evaluation, and acceptance of new machines and manufacturing tools.

Product Development and Industrialization

  • Define design-of-experiments methodologies to evaluate materials, processes, and assembly conditions during product development.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to assess process feasibility and scalability for mass production.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports summarizing development activities and process outcomes.

Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes in terms of efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Analyze process failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Monitor process performance and propose improvements based on data analysis and operational feedback.

Operational Support and Training

  • Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and operational documentation.
  • Train and support technicians in the correct operation of manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Manage required resources for production processes, including raw materials and consumables.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Experience working with automated manufacturing or assembly equipment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and structured problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities within development and production environments.
  • Capability to work in controlled environments such as cleanroom facilities following strict operational procedures.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-precision industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with process development methodologies such as design of experiments (DoE).
  • Experience supporting low-volume or prototype manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to cleanroom manufacturing and advanced electronic assembly processes.
