Mission
The selected engineer will contribute to the design, layout, and verification of analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits used in next-generation CMOS image sensors. The mission of the role is to support the development of high-performance imaging devices by delivering robust, well-verified IC blocks and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of experienced sensor designers. This position plays a key part in expanding the company’s technology portfolio and enabling competitive, high-quality imaging solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analog & Mixed-Signal Circuit Design
- Design analog and mixed-signal blocks for CMOS image sensor architectures.
- Implement transistor-level schematics and simulate performance against stringent imaging requirements.
- Perform variation analysis including Monte Carlo and corner simulations.
- Layout Collaboration & Physical Verification
- Produce or supervise full-custom layout of analog blocks.
- Address DRC/LVS challenges and ensure physical compliance with technology design rules.
- Work closely with layout engineers to enforce layout guidelines and quality standards.
- Technology & Specification Support
- Contribute to device-level understanding of semiconductor processes relevant to imaging performance.
- Support the definition of analog block specifications such as bandgaps, LDOs, amplifiers, and ADC components.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work within a team of senior CMOS image sensor engineers, supporting architectural decisions and system-level integration needs.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of internal methodologies.
- Documentation & Communication
- Generate clear design documentation, presenting results and design insights internally.
- Ensure consistent communication in English, the official company language.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Electronics, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience beyond academic coursework in analog IC design.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of microelectronic device and process fundamentals.
- Familiarity with the design of bandgaps, LDOs, amplifiers, or ADCs.
- Experience using Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler.
- Proficiency in analog simulation and meeting strict performance specifications.
- Experience with Monte Carlo and corner simulations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to structure complex work.
- Independent, reliable, and able to deliver according to project schedules.
- Collaborative mindset and openness to constructive feedback.
- Very good command of English.
Preferred Experience
- Experience addressing complex DRC/LVS closure.
- Background in fast-paced or research-oriented IC design settings.
- Interest in long-term development in AMS design for imaging applications.
