Mission
The Key Account Manager will lead the long-term commercial and technical relationship with strategic manufacturing sites in Europe. This role is instrumental in identifying growth opportunities, aligning customer needs with the company’s technology roadmap, and ensuring successful adoption of equipment and solutions. The position drives strategic account planning, supports equipment qualification processes, and ensures customer satisfaction through a deep understanding of production operations and technology requirements.
Responsibilities
Account Development & Opportunity Management
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of customer operational workflows, technology capabilities, and evolving manufacturing needs.
• Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities for new equipment, retrofits, and upgrades across multiple product lines.
• Lead the creation, tracking, and maintenance of CRM-based opportunities and sales pipelines.
• Generate tactical action plans and contribute to long-range strategic account roadmaps.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
• Act as the primary interface for all commercial and high-level technical topics at customer manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate technical discussions and presentations in collaboration with internal engineering and applications teams.
• Conduct regular on-site meetings, prepare detailed activity reports, and maintain accurate organizational and process-flow documentation.
• Ensure customer retention through proactive issue management, service alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Market & Competitor Analysis
• Monitor competitive activity, technical benchmarks, and operational risks at customer sites.
• Translate customer and market insights into actionable recommendations to support product development and roadmap planning.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or a closely related advanced-manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to manage customer-facing technical or commercial roles within complex manufacturing operations.
• Strong skills in customer needs assessment, stakeholder communication, and relationship development.
• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated self-motivation, ownership, and effective time management in field-based roles.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Europe and internationally.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
Preferred Experience
• Prior hands-on experience as a process engineer or equipment engineer in deposition, dry etch, or related semiconductor process modules.
• Knowledge of technical sales methodologies, opportunity qualification frameworks, or strategic account planning.
• Familiarity with multi-site manufacturing environments and cross-cultural collaboration.
