Mission

The Technician will support the engineering team in the development, assembly, and integration of cutting-edge semiconductor metrology systems. This role requires a hands-on, meticulous approach to prototyping, mechanical and electrical assembly, and logistical coordination. The Technician will play a key role in ensuring system readiness and supporting the deployment of advanced metrology tools in laboratory and customer environments.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Support and Prototyping

  • Produce simple mechanical designs using CAD tools.
  • Update and correct technical drawings in collaboration with engineering staff.
  • Print and validate 3D components to support prototyping and system integration.

Cabling and Electrical Assembly

  • Manufacture custom cables and wiring harnesses for prototype systems.
  • Assemble electrical components with precision, ensuring safety and functional integrity.
  • Perform basic soldering and wiring tasks according to reliability standards.

Logistics and Material Management

  • Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and components.
  • Manage internal inventory, organize storage areas, and ensure resource availability.
  • Support external purchases and procurement logistics as required.

System Integration

  • Assist engineers in the preparation, assembly, and integration of metrology systems.
  • Connect subsystems, verify hardware configurations, and conduct preliminary tests.
  • Maintain an organized, resource-ready laboratory environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced vocational training in Electronics (minimum 2 years).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical wiring, cable manufacturing, or system assembly.
  • Practical skills in soldering, wiring, and hands-on prototyping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driving license.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with CAD tools and 3D printing techniques.
  • Previous experience in mechanical design, electrical harness assembly, or hardware prototyping.
  • Basic understanding of PLCs.
  • Pallet truck license.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
