Mission

The Sales Manager will be responsible for expanding the company’s commercial footprint across the European market. By combining deep technical insight with strong relationship-building skills, you will identify new business opportunities, cultivate strategic partnerships, and position the company’s optical solutions in line with customer needs. Working closely with the R&D team, your role will directly influence the company’s growth trajectory and strengthen its presence in high-value industrial markets.


Responsibilities

Customer and Market Development

  • Manage and develop key accounts, maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s optical technologies.
  • Qualify leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.


Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute account plans tailored to customer ecosystems and decision-making structures.
  • Work collaboratively with R&D to translate customer requirements into compelling technical solutions.
  • Maintain a clear view of competitors and market trends to inform commercial strategies.


Stakeholder Engagement

  • Communicate the company’s technological capabilities effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support the execution of marketing initiatives, including participation in trade fairs and promotional campaigns.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of international B2B business development experience in a high-tech environment.
  • Proven track record in selling complex technical solutions, preferably within optics or photonics.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently with a high degree of self-motivation and ownership.
  • Strong capacity to understand technical concepts and translate them for diverse audiences.
  • Willingness and availability to travel frequently across Europe.
