Mission

As Key Account Manager – OEM, you will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships with key OEM clients operating in advanced manufacturing sectors across your assigned region. Your role will focus on identifying technical opportunities, influencing specifications early in the design phase, and ensuring the successful integration of precision measurement solutions into OEM platforms. Your impact will be central to strengthening long-term relationships, expanding solution adoption, and supporting innovation at scale.


Responsibilities

Strategic Account Development

  • Own and manage long-term commercial relationships with OEMs, aligning with their strategic and operational goals.
  • Develop and implement tailored account strategies to foster growth, expand technical engagement, and increase solution integration.
  • Identify new projects and application areas within key accounts and lead initiatives from concept to deployment.

Technical Sales and Integration Support

  • Promote and technically support a portfolio of metrology and automation solutions including CMM sensors, calibration systems, probing technologies, and associated software.
  • Engage directly with design, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to provide application-driven solutions.
  • Coordinate technical workshops, demonstrations, and pilot programmes to validate technology performance.

Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Build relationships with stakeholders across engineering, innovation, procurement, and executive levels within OEM clients.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, guiding customers through technological challenges and long-term innovation planning.
  • Collaborate closely with internal application engineers, product managers, and service teams to ensure delivery excellence.

Reporting and Market Intelligence

  • Meet defined sales and account development targets, maintaining accurate forecasting and opportunity management via CRM tools.
  • Monitor technological trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support product positioning and strategic planning.


Required Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical sales or key account management within the advanced manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Proven success managing OEM accounts and driving complex technical sales cycles.
  • In-depth understanding of industrial metrology, precision measurement systems, or automation technologies.
  • Ability to engage with multi-disciplinary teams and translate technical requirements into business opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-border European context, with proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region
